Da Nang Police had coordinated with relevant units under the Ministry of Public Security to finalize procedures and hand over him to the Chinese side at Huu Nghi International Border Gate in Lang Son province for handling in line with regulations.

Information from the Office of the Police Investigation Agency and the Ministry of Public Security identified Wang Hua as a person wanted internationally by China over violations committed abroad.

Da Nang police then deployed coordinated investigative measures, including checks on foreign nationals in the area. Police found that Wang had entered Vietnam and registered temporary residence in Ngu Hanh Son ward, Da Nang.

During a check at an apartment in the Muong Thanh apartment complex, police found a Chinese man whose characteristics matched the wanted individual. After verification, police confirmed the man was Wang Hua and arrested him. At the police station, he presented his passport and confirmed personal details matching the warrant issued by China.

Da Nang police said the swift detection, arrest and handover of the man show effective coordination among domestic forces as well as international cooperation in tackling transnational crime.

Da Nang police also advised foreign nationals entering and residing in Vietnam to strictly comply with Vietnamese law. Local residents were urged to stay vigilant and promptly report suspicious cases to the police to help maintain public order and safety.
