Foreign drug traffickers arrested in Ha Tinh

VOV.VN -Police in Ha Tinh province have co-ordinated efforts in an operation with other units to arrest two Laotian nationals for illegally transporting a large quantity of drugs.

The police in Huong Son district noticed two Laotian men acting suspiciously in Dong Son village, Son Bang commune at 15:00 on January 21.

The suspects were questioned and caught red-handed in possession of 2,000 pills of synthetic drugs.

The men were identified as Ka Po Song, 42, and Kham Bay Heng Ma Son, 39, from Xe Champhone district in Borikhamxay province, Laos.

After being taken to the police station, the two men admitted to transporting the drugs from Laos into Vietnam through Cau Treo international border gate to sell to consumers.A further investigation into the case is underway.
