Exhibition on Hoang Sa, Truong Sa achipelagoes comes to Binh Duong
Maps and documents which are legal and historical evidence proving Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagos belong to Vietnam are being exhibited in the southern province of Binh Duong from June 7.
Worthy of note is a collection of four atlases and 30 maps compiled and published by China through historical periods, which prove China has never managed the islands. The four atlases also defined Hainan Island as China’s southernmost point.
The event, organised by the province and the Ministry of Information and Communications, helps raise awareness among all Vietnamese people, particularly the younger generation, on patriotism, national unity and a sense of responsibility.
The exhibition will remain open to visitors until June 11.
This kind of exhibition has been organised in numerous provinces across the nation, including Vinh Phuc, Nghe An, Quang Nam, and Binh Phuoc.
