Dolphins delights tourists as it swims near Cua Tung beach
VOV.VN - A dolphin unexpectedly swam close to the shore at Cua Tung beach, famously known as the "Queen of Beaches" in central Vietnam, delighting locals and tourists on July 20.

According to Vo Duc Dien, chairman of the Cua Tung Commune People's Committee, the dolphin appeared at around 3 p.m. when the beach was crowded with swimmers and tourists.
“The dolphin swam very close to shore and appeared friendly, allowing several people to approach and interact with it. It was a surprising and joyful moment for many,” said Dien.
The chairman also revealed that, approximately 30 minutes later, the dolphin then swam back out to sea and was not seen again. He speculated that, due to the weather conditions and the impact of Typhoon Wipha, the dolphin may have swum closer to the shore than usual.
While dolphin sightings near the shore have been recorded in the past, the official said that such encounters are rare and always leave a strong impression.
Located in Quang Tri province, Cua Tung beach is well known for its pristine beauty, soft white sand, clear waters, and gentle waves. It was once a renowned retreat during the French colonial era, popular with intellectuals and officials.
