Deadly bus crash on expressway leaves 13 casualties
VOV.VN - A fatal traffic collision occurred early on December 9 on the Da Nang-Quang Ngai expressway, resulting in three deaths and ten injuries.
The accident took place at around 4:20 AM in Tam Xuan area, part of Da Nang city, when a passenger bus collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer.
Initial reports indicate that the passenger bus was carrying 12 people when it struck the rear of a heavy-duty truck, which was towing a semi-trailer.
The impact of the crash caused three fatalities on the bus, with ten others sustaining various degrees of injury.
Emergency services, including traffic police from the Ministry of Public Security and Da Nang police, quickly responded to the scene, securing the area and transporting the injured to local hospitals.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident, and efforts to clear the wreckage continue.
