Khanh Hoa to host requiem for traffic accident victims
VOV.VN - The Vietnam Buddhist Sangha Central Committee and the National Traffic Safety Committee will hold a requiem for victims of traffic accidents in Vietnam at Long Son Pagoda, Khanh Hoa province, on October 3 - 4.
At the event, participants will observe one-minute silence in remembrance of the dead victims.
The event will be organised as part of activities in response to the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims (November 21).
In Vietnam, traffic accidents take the lives of nearly 30 people every day.
According to the National Traffic Safety Committee on October 2, the requiem aims to to offer heartfelt condolences to the families of traffic accident victims in Vietnam. It also serves as a call for collective support to help ease the pain and losses suffered by the victims and their loved ones.
The event aims to raise public awareness and encourage strict adherence to traffic laws, with the ultimate goal of building a safer and more compassionate traffic environment for everyone.
