Dak Lak terrorist attacks: three more suspects in special wanted list arrested
VOV.VN - The police of Dak Lak province in the Central Highlands of Vietnam on July 21 arrested three more suspects closely linked to the two terrorist attacks on the headquarters of the two commune administrations of Dak Lak in mid-June.
Tipped off by local people, the police on July 21 morning encircled a deserted farm in Knit village, Ea Ktur commune, Cu Kuin district, where the three suspects were hiding out.
The suspects - Y Khing Lieng, 31, Y Huăl Eban, 53, and Nay Duong, 55 - were arrested shortly afterwards, and taken to the police station for questioning.
The police have so far detained all six suspects on a special wanted list issued a couple of weeks ago. The six suspects were charged with crime of terrorism against the people’s administration according to Article 113 of the Penal Code.
They were all said to directly engage in the terrorist attacks on the headquarters of Ea Tieu commune and Ea Ktur commune of Cu Kuin district on June 11.
Four police officers, two commune administration officials and three local residents were killed, while two police officers were injured in the two attacks.
