Authorities hand over four illegal entrants to China
VOV.VN - Police and border forces in the northern mountainous province of Ha Giang on May 7 handed over to Chinese police four Chinese nationals who had illegally entered Vietnam.
The local police on April 25 discovered four Chinese citizens and two Vietnamese residents at a border area in Dong Van district, attempting to illegally enter the country.
The investigation agency later prosecuted the two Vietnamese residents for organizing illegal entries for the Chinese nationals.
At the police station, the Chinese suspects confessed that they had been brought into Vietnam by the two Vietnamese accomplices - Tho Mi Sinh and Vu No Po - both of whom reside in Dong Van district.
After completing procedures, local authorities handed over the four Chinese citizens to the Chinese side at the Thanh Thuy International Border Gate.
The two Vietnamese suspects were arrested for further investigation.
