Anti-State instigator arrested in An Giang

VOV.VN - The Security Investigation Agency of the An Giang Provincial Police has prosecuted and detained Tran Van Khanh, a 62-year-old resident of Ca Mau province, for disseminating information and distributing documents against the Party and State.

According to initial investigations, since 2021 Khanh had used his Facebook account to make friends with many domestic and foreign social network accounts to comment, share, and distribute documents aimed at defaming the Party, State and government, as well as Party members and officials.

He had also distorted history, incited, and caused division and disunity between religions and the state, with the aim of sabotaging the Party and State, as well as changing the regime in Vietnam.

After collecting and consolidating relevant evidence, the Security Investigation Agency of the An Giang Provincial Police prosecuted and temporarily detained Khanh.
