Amway funds cleft-lip and palate deformity surgeries for kids

Cleft-lip and palate deformities are popular to Vietnamese newborns with the ratio of 1/100. The birth defects effect both physical and mental development of children. In the past eight years, Amway has joined hands with organizations and authorities to help handicapped kids integrate into the community and have a better life.

This social program is among activities of the One by One campaign initiated by Amway in the world to help poor kids. In Vietnam, Amway has donated VND18.4 billion to education and healthcare projects conducted by the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Labor, War invalids, and Social Affairs, Thanh Nienand Tuoi Tre newspapers, and Operation Smile.

Amway Vietnam also encourages its staff and distributors to join such activities to support less fortunate children in the country.
