A big haul of prizes for Vietnam at India international math competition
VOV.VN - Sixteen out of 17 Vietnamese students have won prizes at the India International Mathematics Competition (InIMC) 2024, which took place from July 26 to 30.

According to the official result, they brought home a total of three golds, six silvers, six bronzes, and one consolation prize.
Most notably, Nguyen Phong Chau of Newton 5 Primary and Secondary School successfully surpassed strong rivals from the United States, scoring 140 out of 150 points, the highest at the Key Stage 2 level (Upper Primary Level).
In the team’s category, the Vietnamese team also claimed two champion prizes, one first prize, and two second prizes.
This year has seen the competition drew more than 600 young contestants from 30 countries and territories globally.
