11 sailors rescued after boat catches fire off Binh Dai coast

VOV.VN - total of 11 sailors were rescued off the coast of Binh Dai, Ben Tre province, after their boat caught fire on March 11.

At around 6:00 a.m., the Giao Long Port Border Guard Station received an SOS call from the distressed vessel, coded TG 93009-TS. In response, six soldiers were immediately deployed, and nearby fishing boats were mobilized to assist in the rescue operation.

It took six hours for the rescue team to reach the vessel and successfully bring all 11 crew members to safety. The sailors later received medical care and are now in stable condition.
