Vietnam joins int’l land, air-land defence, security exhibition in Paris
VOV.VN - A delegation from the Ministry of Defence led by Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA), is attending EUROSATORY 2024, the biggest international exhibition for the land and air-land defence and security industry underway in France from June 17-21.
This year’s function features 2,000 booths from 62 countries globally and is expected to welcome 62,000 visitors from 150 nations and 250 delegations from 96 nations.
Since 1998, the Vietnamese Defence Ministry has dispatched its delegation to the biennial exhibition as part of efforts to stay updated on new technologies, scientific and technological advances, equipment development trends of other countries' armies, and promoting co-operation opportunities.
The sidelines of the occasion will see the Vietnamese delegation hold a host of meetings with representatives from several units of the French Ministry of Armed Forces.
