To accelerate progress, achieve breakthroughs, and fulfill the goals set for 2025 and the entire 2021–2025 term, the Prime Minister outlined major pioneering areas for the ministry, saying the MPI should proactively monitor and analyze the domestic and international economic landscape to provide timely and effective policy recommendations, ensuring the country's economic stability and growth.
He asked the MPI to press ahead with spearheading the development and refinement of institutions and policies to create a conducive environment for socio-economic development, while attracting investment, and fostering innovation.
The MPI should place a strong emphasis on enhancing the efficiency of public investment, accelerating the disbursement of public funds, and ensuring that key infrastructure projects are implemented promptly to stimulate economic growth, he suggested.
According to the PM, the ministry should lead efforts in restructuring the economy, promoting sustainable development, and transitioning to a growth model that leverages technology, innovation, and high-quality human resources.
Last but not least, the government leader asked the ministry to improve the quality of statistical data and forecasting to support effective policy-making and economic management.
