Party, State leaders pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh on CPV’s founding anniversary
VOV.VN - Top Party and State leaders laid a wreath at President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in Hanoi on February 3 in tribute to the president’s contributions to the Vietnamese revolution on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV).
Among the leaders present at the function were Party General Secretary To Lam, former Party General Secretary Nong Duc Manh, State President Luong Cuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, former Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, former National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung, the Party’s Secretariat standing member Tran Cam Tu, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee President Do Van Chien.
The leaders expressed their deep respect and gratitude for the immense contributions of President Ho Chi Minh, the brilliant leader, Hero of National Liberation and Great Man of Culture of Vietnam. He was the founder and mentor of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the vanguard of the working class, the labouring people, and the entire Vietnamese nation.
Reality shows that the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam is the foremost factor in determining every victory of the Vietnamese revolution. Under its leadership, the entire military and people continue to uphold the revolutionary spirit and the nation’s patriotic traditions.
With unity and determination, they strive to overcome all difficulties and challenges, working together to successfully achieve the goals and tasks set forth by the 13th National Party Congress. This lays the foundation for the country to confidently move into a new era - the era of national advancement.
The leaders also laid a wreath and offered incense in tribute to the heroic martyrs at the Monument of Heroic Martyrs on Bac Son street.
