National conference reviews Party organization and building in Hanoi
VOV.VN - The Party Central Committee’s Organisation Commission hosted a national conference in Hanoi on December 16 to review Party organization and building for 2024 and outline tasks for 2025.
Party General Secretary To Lam attended and delivered a speech, emphasizing the crucial role of Party organization and building in achieving political objectives, socio-economic development, and national defense and security.
It was reported that this year the Party’s organization body has completed a large volume of workload, including providing consultations to the Party regarding the issuance of resolutions, directives, conclusions to concretise 10 Party building tasks, three key national development tasks and three strategic breakthroughs outlined by the 13th National Party Congress.
Since the start of its working term, the body has submitted 79 proposals and tasks to the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat, resulting in the issuance of 72 documents aimed at improving the Party’s regulations on organizational and structural development.
Alongside these efforts, significant contributions have been made in preparing for coming Party Congresses at various levels, ensuring a synchronized and comprehensive approach across content, personnel, and organizational planning.
It has helped grassroots-level Party organisations to comprehensively and effectively implement resolutions on Party building and rectification, especially the Party Central Committee’s Resolution 18 on streamlining the state apparatus and enhancing workforce quality.
To meet the requirements for Vietnam entering a new era of national advancement, the Party’s organization body has vowed to complete 10 major tasks and three breakthrough solutions for Party building in 2025.
A primary focus will be on ensuring progress and quality in the lead-up to the 14th National Party Congress, enhancing communications, practical review, and research on Party organization and building, and improving leadership capacity and combat strength of Party organizations.
