She also expressed her wish that Vietnam would participate and actively contribute to the UNCTAD Ministerial Conference in 2025.
The UNCTAD leader, who is former Vice President of Costa Rica, said she was looking forward to visiting Vietnam soon.
Meanwhile, PM Chinh affirmed that Vietnam highly values the UNCTAD’s role in supporting developing countries, including Vietnam, in formulating development policies, contributing to maintaining a prosperous life for people.
He hoped that the UNCTAD would continue to support Vietnam in all aspects of development, especially human resources training.
The PM also expected that the UNCTAD would further increasing its role in promoting global cooperation and South-South cooperation, especially the trilateral cooperation model between Vietnam, a developed country and a less developed country.
On this occasion, the PM invited the Secretary-General to visit Vietnam soon to continue discussing measures to strengthen cooperation between the two sides.
