Thai Foreign Minister Maris Sangiampongsa to visit Vietnam
VOV.VN - Thai Foreign Minister Maris Sangiampongsa will pay an official visit to Vietnam and attend the second ASEAN Future Forum from February 23-25.

The invitation has been extended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press communique.
The Enhanced Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and Thailand has been developing positively in recent times through regular high-level visit exchanges and cooperation mechanisms. The two countries are currently deploying an action programme to realise their partnership for 2022-2027.
Thailand is Vietnam’s largest trading partner in ASEAN and ninth largest in the world, with two-way trade last year reaching more than US$20.2 billion, up 6.3% year on year.
Thailand is also Vietnam’s ninth largest foreign investor, with 738 valid projects worth more than US$14.1 billion.
Bilateral cooperation in energy, culture, tourism and education has been fostered alongside cooperation in politics, defence, and security.
The wo countries have regularly coordinated their stance at regional and international forums, especially at the United Nation and ASEAN.
