PMs of Vietnam and Japan enjoy breakfast, visit Museum of History
VOV.VN - Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his visiting Japanese counterpart Shigeru Ishiba along with their spouses enjoyed traditional Vietnamese cuisine and sampled the unique flavour of Vietnamese coffee in Hanoi on April 29 morning.

Reflecting on Vietnamese coffee, Chinh said Vietnam is the world’s second largest coffee exporter, second only to Brazil. He emphasised the global recognition of Buon Ma Thuot coffee, renowned for its rich aroma and bold flavour.
Following the breakfast, both Prime Ministers and their spouses visited the Vietnam National Museum of History, where they explored exhibits spanning from prehistoric times to the end of the Nguyen Dynasty in 1945. The museum houses approximately 110,000 artefacts, including 20 items designated as National Treasures.
Among the artefacts was the Ngoc Lu drum, considered the most beautiful of all Dong Son bronze drums discovered in Vietnam. The drum features intricate decorations that reflect the spiritual and daily life of ancient Vietnamese people, showcasing the pinnacle of Dông Son-era bronze casting techniques.
Ishiba expressed his delight at visiting Vietnam and learning more about the country’s rich cultural heritage and historic struggle for independence.
He thanked Vietnamese leaders and people for their warm and thoughtful hospitality, and extended an invitation to the Vietnamese PM, his spouse, and other leaders to visit Japan to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the future.
