PM Pham Minh Chinh concludes working trip to China
VOV.VN - Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh returned to Hanoi on June 27 afternoon, concluding his four-day working trip to China where he also attended the World Economic Forum’s 15th Annual Meeting of the New Champions in Dalian city.

The WEF Annual Meeting themed New Frontiers for Growth brought together more than 1,600 government and state leaders, leaders of international organisations, scholars, business CEOs and WEF corporations.
The Vietnamese PM delivered a keynote speech at the opening ceremony, and co-chaired dialogues with leading corporations and innovation startups of the WEF alongside WEF chairman and founder Klaus Schwab.
He talked global issues, shared Vietnam’s success story after nearly four decades of implementing the Renewal process, and called on the international community to unite and develop together, especially in the fields of innovation.
He also held talks with Chinese Premier Li Qiang, and met with Chinese Party General Secretary and President Xi Jinping, and Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Chairman Wang Huning.
During these talks and meetings, the two sides reviewed the positive developments of the Vietnam – China Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership, noting Vietnam - China relations have never been as profound, comprehensive, and substantive as they are today.
They agreed to direct relevant ministries and agencies to realise high-level common perceptions and agreements, including the December 2023 joint statement on continuing to to deepen and elevate the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership and build a China-Vietnam community with a shared future that carries strategic significance.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Chinese Vice Premier Zhang Gouqing attended and spoke at the Vietnam-China cooperation conference on strategic transport infrastructure development and the role of the two countries’ enterprises, in Beijing on June 27. Chinh also had meetings with leaders of major Chinese corporations in the field of infrastructure development.
He encouraged Chinese businesses to engage in large-scale transport infrastructure projects in Vietnam, transfer management skills and modern technology, and train human resources in infrastructure development.
