VOV.VN - Shortly after arriving in Hanoi on May 27 evening for an official visit to Vietnam, Hungarian President Tamas Sulyok and First Lady Nagy Zsuzsanna took a leisurely walk hand in hand around the local Old Quarter, enjoying the nighttime atmosphere of the capital city.

Just about an hour after landing in Hanoi, the President and First Lady left their hotel and headed out to explore the peaceful streets. Despite the light drizzle, both appeared delighted and enthusiastic as they slowly strolled toward Hoan Kiem Lake, enjoying the serene and welcoming ambiance of Hanoi in the evening.
They stopped at the statue of King Ly Thai To, attentively listening to introductions about the founding monarch of the Ly Dynasty and key milestones in the thousand-year history and culture of Thang Long (now Hanoi).
Continuing their walk along the lakefront, they admired the illuminated Turtle Tower shimmering in the night lights, a sacred symbol closely tied to the capital city’s rich history.
Along the historic Trang Tien Street, the President and his spouse explored the local architecture while observing the vibrant, culturally rich life of Hanoi’s Old Quarter.
They also passed by the Hanoi Opera House, an architectural masterpiece of the city, and then returned to the Metropole Hotel to rest.
