Ambassador praises Vietnam – Cuba friendship during visit to Havana school

A delegation of the Vietnamese Embassy in Cuba led by Ambassador Le Quang Long visited the Nguyen Van Troi primary school in Cerro district, Havana, on January 23.

The visit was part of activities in 2025 to mark the 65th founding anniversary of the Vietnam – Cuba diplomatic relations (December 2, 1960–2025).

Representatives from the Department of External Relations of the Communist Party of Cuba Central Committee and the Cuba Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) joined the delegation.

For his part, Ambassador Long praised the efforts by teachers who are dedicated to instilling patriotism and affection in their students.

He emphasised the importance of educating younger generations, the future masters of the country, on the special solidarity, friendship, and enduring fraternity between Vietnam and Cuba.

On this occasion, Long presented gifts from the central city of Da Nang to the school.
