Vietnam promotes tourism in Argentina
(VOV) - The Argentina Travel & Tourist Agents Association and the Vietnamese Embassy in Buenos Aires on June 2 held a workshop to promote Vietnam tourism in the country.
During the event, representatives from many Argentinean travel agents showed their keen on opening tours to Vietnam.
Joining the event, they wanted to seek information about Vietnam’s land, people, tourism sites and products and opportunities to set up ties with Vietnamese partners to send Argentinean tourists to the country.

A representative from the Vietnamese Embassy briefed the participants on the country’s history, and its diversified culture with UNESCO- recognised heritage and tourism potential.
A short film on Vietnam’s land, people and economic achievements in recent years was shown at the workshop.
Vietnam has become an attractive destination for Argentinean visitors. It welcomed 10,000 Argentinean tourists last year.
More than 5,000 Argentinean travellers have arrived in the country since early this year, a rise of 20% against the same period last year.
