Opened from 7 am to 11 pm, Hue Phat has three floors with each floor having different styles of decorations.
The first floor is for vegetarian food and nature lovers with grass and trees used for decoration. A stall sells a wide selection of Vietnamese fruits including thot not, the fruit of a popular sugar palm plant in An Giang’s Chau Doc District, which is Phuong’s hometown.
The second floor is home to wooden chairs and tables in black and suitable for those who want private space for meeting and chatting with friends, colleagues and relatives.
Brown is the main color of the third floor, which is a place for those who want to have a meal in an ambience of Zen.
Hue Phat also has earned reputation for its desserts made from the flesh and juice of thot not fruit.
Phuong said the restaurant would use all its profit for a charity which finances construction of bridges in rural areas and donates gifts to the poor. She has been running the charity over the past ten years.
