Inside Quang Ninh Centre for ASEAN+3 Song Contest

VOV.VN - The semi-finals and finals of the ASEAN+3 Song Contest are to take place in the Quang Ninh Exhibition of Planning and Expo Centre on the banks of Ha Long bay from July 26-28. Let’s take a look around the site and see how preparations are progressing.

The Quang Ninh Exhibition of Planning and Expo Centre features a particularly impressive design, from above it looks like a giant dolphin frolicking in the waves.

The national flags of 10 ASEAN members and invited guests from China, the Republic of Korea, and Japan stand tall in front of the building. The national broadcaster Voice of Vietnam (VOV) is to host both the semi-finals and final round of the ASEAN+3 Song Contest which will take place in Quang Ninh province from July 26- 29 with the best 22 contestants from ASEAN member states taking part.

The site spans a total area of 31,000 square metres. Inside the centre’s theatre are more than 1,000 seats. It is here that the ASEAN+3 Song Contest will take place.

The final night is scheduled to be held at 8pm on July 28. Aside from competition among participants from other Southeast Asian nations, singers from China, the Republic of Korea (RoK), and Japan will also be performing at the event.

The ASEAN+3 Song Contest is expected to bring a party of vibrant music to both local residents and tourists alike.

The sound, lighting, and electric system is carefully checked beforehand to ensure that all the technology is safely in place for the event.

The grand final of the contest is to be broadcast live on VOV’s radio channels, along with television channels Vietnam Journey, VTC, VOV3, and VOV5, and the VTC Now app. The organisers of the event have arranged a technology area for the live broadcast.
