1,000 pupil messages sent to Truong Sa archipelago on new school year

VOV.VN - 100 photos of Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelago and a map titled “Proud of Vietnam’s sea and islands”, comprised of 33 national flags used in 33 navy posts, were exhibited at Hanoi's Phu Dien Secondary School recently.

More than 1,200 teachers and pupils took part in a program called “Father guards the island, I stay home with my friends”, to celebrate the Mid-Autumn festival with the children of soldiers stationed at Truong Sa archipelago and DK1 platforms. 1,000 messages were written on star-shaped lanterns. The pupils also made paper masks as gifts for the soldiers' children. |
