Touching photos depict love for Truong Sa archipelago
VOV.VN - 120 touching, lively photos by 12 Vietnamese journalists and photographers are on displayed at 93 Dinh Tien Hoang Exhibition Hall in Hanoi to mark the 54th anniversary of the first victory of the Vietnam People's Navy.
The photo exhibition entitled "Truong Sa in our hearts” is open from August 2 to 5. |
The exhibited pictures were selected from thousands of photos taken by 12 journalists and photographers during their trips to Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelago, describing the beauty of the islands, telling stories about the lives of islanders and soldiers, and conveying love from mainlanders to Truong Sa. |
The opening ceremony is attended by Nguyen The Ky, Member of the Party Central Committee and President of Radio Voice of Vietnam; Colonel Le Xuan Thuy, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Vietnam People's Navy; and representatives of the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition and the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists. |
In his opening address, Mr. Nguyen The Ky says exhibition goers will feel closer to their hearts Truong Sa people and soldiers, who are day and night protecting the national sea and island sovereignty. |
