VinFast to exhibit EV models at 2023 Canadian International Auto Show
VOV.VN - Vietnamese automaker VinFast, a subsidiary of Vietnamese conglomerate Vingroup, confirmed on February 14 it will join the 2023 Canadian International Auto Show (CIAS 2023 due to place from February 17 to February 26 in Toronto.
During the show VinFast is expected to introduce four major electric vehicle (EV) models, namely the VF 6, VF 7, VF 8, and VF 9. In addition, it will hold a test drive on Canada's largest indoor electric vehicle test track at the exhibition grounds to offer a direct experience to customers.
Customers are therefore anticipated to explore the company’s four new key EV models this year and get to know their both the interior and exterior, as well as advanced technology at the event
The company is proud to attend a large-scale auto show like CIAS, which provides an ideal venue for more Canadian customers to get to know and gain firsthand experience about VinFast, a completely new car brand that boasts global quality and class, said Nguyen Thi Van Anh, manufacturing CEO of VinFast US.
Toronto is also the location where VinFast opened its first store in their chain of stores and service centres in Canada, Anh said, noting that this will serve as a good foundation for VinFast's future growth in Canada.
It is expected that Canadian customers will receive the first VF 8 cars in the second quarter of the year. VinFast is also continuing to deploy a system of stores and service centres in the market whilst it seeks partners in all fields to bring optimal solutions and positive experiences to Canadian customers.
CIAS is Canada's largest auto show which has been held annually for the past 50 years with a scale of more than 1,000 car models and nearly 333,000 visitors each year. This is also the second international auto show VinFast has attended in Canada, following an event held in Montreal in January.
