Vietnamese products introduced at Thessaloniki International Fair
VOV.VN - The Embassy of Vietnam in Greece has set up a pavilion to introduce Vietnamese products and culture at the 89th Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) that is getting underway in Thessaloniki, Greece, from September 6–14.

Vietnam’s participation in the fair is part of the Embassy’s economic diplomacy efforts to promote the country’s products and seek partnerships.
On display at the Vietnam Pavilion are a wide range of products from traditional cuisine and handicrafts to dried fruits, packaged foods, tea, and coffee.
The Vietnam Pavilion attracted strong interest from visitors, including the Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance of Greece, ambassadors of Bangladesh and Pakistan, representatives from India’s Ministry of Textiles, as well as business associations and the general public.
With tens of thousands of visitors each day, the fair provided an opportunity to promote Vietnam’s culture, products, and image to Greek businesses, the Balkan region, and the wider international community.
On this occasion, the Embassy also facilitated networking between Vietnamese enterprises and Greek partners, particularly in the fields of dried fruits and labour supply.
During the fair, Vietnamese Ambassador to Greece Pham Thi Thu Huong attended the opening ceremony and met with Greek Deputy Prime Minister Konstantinos Chatzidakis, highlighting the positive development of the traditional friendship and relations between the two countries over the past five decades since the establishment of diplomatic ties.
Ambassador Huong also held talks with Koukia A. Saranti, President of the Federation of Industries of Greece, to explore potential cooperation in construction materials and agricultural products. Both sides agreed to arrange a hybrid meeting between businesses of the two countries in the near future.
Recognised as the largest trade fair in the Balkan region, TIF 2025 brought together 1,100 exhibitors, including leading companies from Greece, the Balkans, and 19 other countries.
