Vietnam launches first green B2B e-commerce platform - EcoHub
VOV.VN - EcoHub, Vietnam’s first green business-to-business e-commerce platform, debuted in Ho Chi Minh City on July 1, marking a milestone in promoting sustainable trade and helping businesses meet Net Zero goals.
Developed by Arobid JSC, the platform at ecohub.arobid.com creates a specialised digital ecosystem aligned with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) standards.
It enables companies to publicise emission data, ensure transparency in production processes, and demonstrate commitment to environmental and social responsibility which are key requirements for entering high-standard global markets such as the European Union, United States, and Japan. The platform will also help to enhance the value of Vietnamese brands internationally.
Tran Van Chin of Arobid JSC said that the platform is structured around seven pillar industries, namely renewable energy, green transport, sustainable materials, green finance, green consumption, digital transformation technology, and Vietmade (Vietnamese made goods). All of them are aligned with Vietnam’s 2030 green growth strategy with a vision to 2050, as well as following the ESG standards.
Alongside EcoHub, the EcoHub XPO, a 3D digital exhibition titled “NoCarbon City”, was launched. The exhibition features interactive VR/AR models of electric vehicles, low-carbon materials, and Net Zero production, marking the first time immersive technologies have been fully applied to promote green exports in Vietnam.
These launches were part of the Green Trade Forum 2025, co-organized by Ho Chi Minh City’s administration and Sai Gon Giai Phong (Liberated Saigon) newspaper.
Speaking at the forum, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Phan Thi Thang highly appreciated the two events.
The establishment of EcoHub, the first of its kind dedicated to the green business community, will be an important platform to help connect the green business community, she said.
She went on to say that it offers Vietnamese enterprises a competitive edge in integrating into low-carbon global supply chains, thereby advancing Vietnam’s green growth efforts.
