Vietnam Int'l Agricultural Fair targets trade promotion, market expansion
VOV.VN - The Vietnam International Agricultural Fair 2024 kicked off in the Mekong Delta City of Can Tho on November 1 to boost trade promotion, market expansion, trade exchanges, and cooperation in developing high-tech agriculture.
On display across the 400 booths at the event were cutting-edge products in the fields of agricultural machinery and equipment, production lines, agricultural processing, fertilizers, pesticides, supporting technologies for high-tech agriculture, and solutions to promote both agricultural linkages and post-harvest preservation techniques.
Nguyen Thuc Hien, vice chairman of the Can Tho City People's Committee, emphasised that the annual fair will create the optimal conditions for businesses to further develop their brands, expand markets, and honour the value of agro-forestry-aquatic products and introduce scientific advances in agricultural production.
During the five-day event, a signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) will be held in order to promote trade and investment ties among three localities, including Can Tho city, An Giang province, and Dong Thap province.
Furthermore, there will be a number of workshops and seminars to be held aiming to strengthen trade exchanges among businesses.
