Vietnam Export Promotion Forum 2021 to get underway in mid-December
VOV.VN - The Ministry of Industry and Trade is poised to host a forum both physically and virtually on December 15 to seek further ways to boost trade promotion in the new normal.
Vietnam Export Promotion Forum 2021 aims to promote digital transformation in export promotion activities, and help local firms to weather the COVID-19 and get back on track as the country is moving into the post-COVID-19 pandemic period, said Vu Ba Phu, director of the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (Vietrade).
The forum will be chaired by Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien and will feature with the participation of several representatives from relevant Vietnamese ministries and agencies, along with export businesses.
Last year’s event themed “Trade promotion for sustainable export development in the implementation context of EVFTA and CPTPP” captured great attention from a large number of domestic and foreign experts.
During the forum, experts shared details about sustainable production orientations and export promotion activities in various Vietnamese industries, such as fisheries, rubber, textiles, and wood processing.
Acquired information helped businesses develop long-term production strategies and diversify export markets.
