Vietnam Business Association in Japan unveils new leadership for 2025–2028
VOV.VN - The Vietnam Business Association in Japan (VJBA) has announced its new executive board for the 2025–2028 term, pledging to support Vietnamese businesses in Japan and strengthen connections with domestic enterprises in this new era of international integration.

Established on September 2, 2013, the VJBA has steadily grown in scale, structure, and activities over the past decade. Today, it has 41 members and is widely regarded as a reliable support network for Vietnamese entrepreneurs in Japan, as well as a vital bridge fostering business relations between Vietnam and Japan.
Highlighting several key achievements from the previous term at a meeting in Tokyo on October 6, Dinh Anh Minh, vice president of the VJBA, noted that the association expanded its membership network by welcoming 12 new members during the 2023–2025 period. It also played an active role in promoting trade between Vietnam and Japan, while strengthening bilateral cooperation and offering meaningful support to the business community.
In addition, the VJBA made notable contributions to social causes, raising over JPY2 million to assist victims of the Noto Peninsula earthquake and donating more than VND300 million to support central Vietnamese provinces impacted by Typhoon Yagi in 2024. The association was also instrumental in supporting cultural and community initiatives in Japan, helping preserve and promote Vietnamese heritage within the local diaspora.
Speaking at the event, Vietnamese Ambassador to Japan Pham Quang Hieu praised the VJBA for its role, position, and achievements over the years. He expressed his hope that the association would continue to expand its membership, enhance the quality of its operations, and broaden its scope.
The ambassador also reaffirmed the Vietnamese Embassy’s commitment to supporting and accompanying the Vietnamese business community in Japan, pledging to create favourable conditions for their sustained growth and success.
During the meeting, the new executive board of the VJBA for the 2025–2028 term was officially introduced. The board consists of nine members and is led by Tong Thi Kim Giao, director of Motiti Group, who was appointed as the new President. In her remarks, Giao pledged that she and the new executive team would make every effort to further advance the association’s work, achieving new successes and making positive contributions to the development of both the Vietnamese community in Japan and the broader relationship between the two countries.
