Trade expo connects young entrepreneurs in southeastern region
VOV.VN - A large-scale trade expo officially opened on August 25 in the southern province of Binh Duong, with the event offering co-operation opportunities for young entrepreneurs based in the southeast region as well as those throughout the entire country.
The event also provides an ideal venue in which firms can come to learn about each other's business line, strengthen trade exchanges, introduce their products and services, as well as seeking investment opportunities
A range of activities are being held during the course of the expo, including pavilions introducing business experiences, updates on the economic development situation of the key southeast region, and a sports exchange programme.
Within the framework of the trade show, an economic forum was held with the participation of representatives of enterprises from the Netherlands, the United States, Hong Kong (China), and Singapore, with this anticipated to help firms to approach investment funds and trade associations around the globe in order to orient the market economic needs of countries, find partners, and further boost market expansion.
Mai Hung Dung, vice chairman of the Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee, said that the province continues to be one of the localities which boasts the strong development in the industrial field, urban areas, and services. Binh Duong is currently home to 29 industrial parks and 12 industrial clusters in operation with a total area exceeding 13,600 hectares.
Apart from attracting foreign investment successfully with 4,100 projects totally capitalized at more than US$40 billion from 65 countries and territories, the province also pays great attention to the local business community, thereby striving to increase general competitiveness towards global economic integration.
