PM orders swift organisation of Autumn Fair 2025
VOV.VN - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has issued official dispatch No. 172/CĐ-TTg dated September 25, 2025, calling for the urgent organisation of the first Autumn Fair 2025 in October.
The dispatch, building on the success of the exhibition titled "80 Years of the Journey of Independence – Freedom – Happiness,” says the fair aims to boost the domestic market, stimulate consumption, and strengthen supply chains. The initiative is expected to support Vietnam’s 2025 economic growth target of over 8%.
Under the directive, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam will lead preparations, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam, Vingroup, the Vietnam Exposition Centre (VEC), and other relevant agencies, to organise the Autumn Fair in October 2025.
The event is scheduled to run from around October 24 to November 4 at the VEC, serving as a platform for trade and investment promotion and for connecting businesses across industry, agriculture, services, and import-export sectors.
The Prime Minister also outlined key tasks for ministries and agencies, including preparing infrastructure and logistics, organizing business matching activities, promoting Vietnamese products and culture, allocating funding, and expanding domestic and international outreach.
Media agencies such as the Vietnam News Agency, Vietnam Television, and Voice of Vietnam have been tasked with publicising the event, while overseas missions are expected to attract foreign participants.
Local authorities, including Hanoi, will support transport and infrastructure, and state-owned enterprises are encouraged to showcase flagship products.
Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Sơn will oversee the organisation, with the Government Office monitoring implementation.
