Autumn Fair: Boosting consumer demand, strengthening Vietnamese brand identity

VOV.VN - Autumn Fair 2025, the largest trade fair ever held in Vietnam, has emerged as a significant platform for economic integration, connecting businesses, consumers, and international partners while reinforcing the country’s growing position in the global economy.

A strong impact on business community

As the largest trade fair ever organised in Vietnam, Autumn Fair 2025 covered a total area of 130,000m² with 3,000 standard booths, bringing together 2,500 domestic and international enterprises and organisations. The fair attracted an average of 100,000 visitors per day, making it the most attended trade promotion event in the country to date.

A major contribution to the success of Autumn Fair 2025 came from the participation of nearly 2,500 enterprises and organisations from Vietnam and abroad, showcasing impressive, creative exhibition spaces rich in Vietnamese cultural identity.

Among them, many participating units left a strong impression through innovative booth design, content presentation, trade promotion activities, brand communication, and professional organisation of exhibition spaces and business networking.

Pham Thi Bach Thuy, director of Thuy Thuy Seafood Co., Ltd. (An Giang Province), said the company introduced key products representing the coastal region of An Giang, such as spicy dried shrimp, dried shrimp, and processed anchovy and needlefish products, all meeting OCOP 3-star standards.

“Promoting clean, safe, and high-quality products that reflect our local identity to Vietnamese consumers is our biggest goal when participating in the fair. This event is not only for the domestic market but also an opportunity for our products to reach international markets. Introducing and promoting to international friends is important, but it is also a way of affirming that Vietnam is fully capable of producing high-quality products with preserved nutrition, natural color, and no preservatives, chemicals, or artificial coloring,” Thuy emphasised.

Autumn Fair 2025, regarded as the largest trade promotion event ever held, was expected to serve as a key platform for businesses to introduce products, enhance brand visibility, expand markets, and connect with potential partners.

Nguyen Tuan Khanh, sales director of TVP Steel Joint Stock Company, expressed his expectation that the fair would provide opportunities to promote products, strengthen brand recognition, and expand both domestic and international markets.

“At this year’s fair, our company focused on introducing high-quality steel products tailored to domestic construction and industrial demand, especially for rapidly developing infrastructure projects. At the same time, we aimed to expand exports and seek distribution partners in Europe, the United States, Southeast Asia, and other Asian markets through direct networking with construction companies, mechanical engineering firms, investors, and design–construction units,” Khanh said.

A symbol of integration, innovation, and development

As an international partner participating in Autumn Fair 2025, Larry Hu, Managing Director of Amazon Global Selling for Southeast Asia, assessed that the fair is not merely a routine national-level trade event, but also a symbol of Vietnam’s integration, creativity, and development in the 21st century.

He noted that Vietnam’s dynamic economy, together with its young, tech-savvy population and strong manufacturing sector, is fully aligned with Amazon’s vision of empowering businesses through technology and innovation.

Hu emphasised that Amazon’s participation in Autumn Fair 2025 reflected the company’s continuous commitment to the Vietnamese market and recognition of Vietnam’s growing importance in the global digital economy. He expressed his pleasure at being part of this national event, stating that the fair would not only stimulate domestic production but also promote international economic integration, highlighting Vietnam’s increasingly significant role in the global economy.

A strong link between consumers, products, and enterprises

Commenting on the role of Autumn Fair 2025 in Vietnam’s economic integration process and the expansion of trade promotion space, Dr. Vo Tri Thanh, director of the Institute for Brand and Competitiveness Strategy, affirmed that this was a highly important initiative, which can be seen as a long-term milestone in the country’s economic integration and development process.

He noted that Autumn Fair 2025 was not only about domestic trade connectivity but also about bringing Vietnam to the world through products, trade, and investment activities, while simultaneously bringing the world closer to Vietnam.

The ambitious objectives and large-scale organisation of the fair reflected a strategic vision in building a trade promotion space with depth and strong influence. This year’s event held special significance as it clearly demonstrated the connection between Vietnamese people, products, and enterprises with the global market, while also affirming the intrinsic value of the domestic market.

Vietnam’s integration capacity and economic position

According to many customers, consumers, businesses, and experts, a key highlight of this year’s Autumn Fair was that Vietnam has developed exhibition and trade fair infrastructure that truly meets international standards—something the country has not previously had.

With modern and well-developed infrastructure, the fair went beyond simply showcasing products and services. More importantly, it created a space for businesses to promote their supply capabilities, expand cooperation, and learn from one another. The fair served as a hub of information, knowledge, development trends, and market access approaches.

It was not only a story about products or enterprises; it was also a story about national strength, Vietnam’s capacity for integration, and its economic position. Autumn Fair 2025 has concluded successfully.

While the initial stages may still have areas for improvement, what matters most is that businesses maintain a broad vision alongside tangible outcomes: successfully promoting products, making sales, signing contracts, attracting investment, and enhancing competitiveness.

From these results, the business community is gradually transforming, particularly in terms of brand-building mindset, market approach, and cooperation connectivity.
