Petrol prices fall by VND800 per litre under latest adjustment

VOV.VN - The retail prices of petrol were further reduced in the latest price adjustment made on March 21 by the Ministries of Industry and Trade, and Finance.

The price of E5 RON92 duly dropped by VND784 to a maximum of VND22,022 per litre, while that of RON95-III was cut by VND780 to reach VND23,038 per litre.

Elsewhere, oil prices also declined, with that of diesel oil being cut by VND1,200 to VND19,302 per litre, whilst that of kerosene was down by VND1,253 to VND19,462 per litre.

Mazut oil 180CST 3.5S was priced at VND14,479 per kg, marking a fall of VND800.

The two ministries also decided to extract VND300 per litre from petrol and oil prices for the petrol price stabilisation fund. This marks the second reduction to occur this March.

On March 1 petrol prices recorded a mild drop of VND100 per litre. They then rose slightly during the latest adjustment made on March 13, with an increase of VND500 per litre for petrol prices and a rise of VND200 per litre for oil prices.
