Petrol prices continue to drop

VOV.VN - Petrol prices recorded a mild drop during the latest adjustment at 3 p.m. on March 1 made by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Ministry of Finance.

As a result, the retail price of RON95 decreased by VND120 to a maximum of VND23,320 per litre, while that of E5 RON92 was down VND120 to VND22,420 per litre.

Meanwhile, the prices of diesel and kerosene fell by VND550 and VND370 to VND20,250 per litre and VND20,470 per kilogram, respectively.

Mazut oil 180CST 3.5S was priced at VND14,550 per kilogram, marking an increase of VND300 per kilogram.

Following the latest price changes, the two ministries decided to stop using the petrol price stabilisation fund to subsidise the price of mazut.

However, they agreed to use part of the fund to subsidise E5RON92 and RON95 at VND200 to VND250 per litre, diesel and kerosene at VND300 per litre, and VND500 per kilogram, respectively.
