Petrol prices records another increase in latest adjustment
VOV.VN - The retail prices of petrol rose slightly during the latest adjustment made on March 13 by the Ministries of Industry and Trade, and Finance.
The latest change has seen the ceiling retail price of E5 RON92 increase by VND385 to VND22,806 per litre, whilst that of RON95 bio-fuel went up by VND493 to VND23,818 per litre.
The prices of oils were also adjusted up, with that of diesel oil increasing by VND247 to VND20,502 per litre and that of kerosene going up by VND241 to reach VND20,715 per litre.
Meanwhile, the price of mazut oil surged by VND724 to VND15,279 per kg.
Following the latest price changes, the two ministries decided to stop using the petrol price stabilisation fund to subsidise the price of mazut.
However, they agreed to use part of the fund in order to subsidise E5 RON92 and RON95 at VND300 per litre, with VND300 per litre being used for diesel and kerosene, respectively.
