Petrol prices surge in latest adjustment
VOV.VN - Retail prices of petrol on November 13 were revised up to more than VND19,800 per litre in a price adjustment by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Ministry of Finance.
As of 3 p.m., the price of E5 RON 92 rose by VND160 to a maximum of VND19,840 per litre, while that of RON95-III edged up by VND160 to VND20,570 per litre.
Meanwhile, E10 biofuel recorded a notable increase as its price increased by VND140 to VND20,150 per litre.
Similarly, the price of oil was also adjusted upward, with diesel going up by VND540 to VND19,860 per litre, and kerosene by VND540 to VND19,930 per litre.
In contrast, Mazut oil 180CST 3.5S was sold at VND14,070, down by VND250 per kilogramme compared to the previous price adjustment a week ago.
Since the beginning of the year, domestic petrol and oil prices have been adjusted 47 times, reflecting volatility in global markets. Among them, RON95-III and E5 RON 92 have seen 25 and 24 price increases and 22 and 23 decreases, respectively. E10 biofuel has been adjusted with seven times up and seven times down.
