Over 180 exhibitors attend Smart Furniture Solutions Vietnam 2024

On display across the nearly 200 booths are a wide range of products in the timber industry, including raw materials and supplies; wood processing tools such as saws, blades, cutters, drill bits, router bits, hand tools, and machine accessories; as well as interior components.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Tran Ngoc Liem, director of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ho Chi Minh City branch, emphasised that smart interiors not only serve personal utility needs, but have also significantly contributed to environmental protection and sustainable development.

Green solutions will therefore help to minimise the negative impacts on the environment, which can be viewed as more important than ever, Liem noted.

Sharing this perspective, Nguyen Truong Thi, deputy director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Binh Duong province, stressed that the products displayed at the expo not only demonstrate the creativity of firms in design, but have also contributed to improving quality of life whilst simultaneously reducing negative impacts on the environment for the cause of sustainable development.

The four-day expo has helped numerous enterprises to access cutting-edge technologies, expand the supply chain, explore new trends in interior design, and promote their production and export activities in a sustainable manner, according to industry insiders.
