Over 100 European businesses to seek investment opportunities in Binh Phuoc

This information was unveiled at a press conference aimed at organizing a forum to strengthen connectivity among businesses under the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham) and Binh Phuoc.

Upon addressing the press conference, Huynh Anh Minh, vice chairman of Binh Phuoc provincial People's Committee, emphasized that the forum aims to connect businesses and investors in the development of hi-tech agriculture, commerce, and industrial sector.

Minh added that the forum was attended by more than 100 representatives of leading EuroCham businesses with popular names such as Heineken, De Heus, Big Dutchman, Phileo by Lesaffre, Kilimo, Logwin Air and Ocean, Stolz Asia, The Fruit Republic, Biodevas, Lallemand, Hung Nhon Aust Export, and businesses from the Australian Business Association in Vietnam (AusCham).

The event will provide an opportunity for Binh Phuoc to introduce its various strengths and incentive investment policies in order to attract reputable businesses and strategic investors to inject capital into the fields of industry, commerce, and high-tech agriculture.

For his part, Gabor Fluit, chairman of EuroCham, stressed that the forum will open up fresh opportunities to gain access to valuable information, a comprehensive picture of the regional economy, upcoming development projects, and growth potential.

Through this event, EuroCham businesses will be able to devise a strategic vision to explore new investment opportunities in Binh Phuoc moving forward, he noted.

At this Forum, the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province, the Vietnam Digital Agriculture Association (VIDA), and EuroCham are to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoU) on deploying digitalisation of agricultural products and applying high technology in the agriculture sector in Binh Phuoc.
