In addition, Mazut 180CST 3.5S was sold at no more than VND15,569 per kilogramme, up VND419 per kilogramme.
In this pricing adjustment cycle, the inter-ministerial regulatory agency did not use the price stabilisation fund for any products.
Since the beginning of 2026, domestic petrol prices have undergone six adjustments, including two decreases and four increases. In 2025, domestic petrol prices saw 50 adjustments, including 24 decreases, and 20 increases.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade reported that global petroleum prices during the latest adjustment period, from February 5 to 11 were affected by multiple factors, including tensions between the United States and Iran, the increase in US oil inventories, depreciation of the US dollar, and ongoing military developments related to the Russia–Ukraine conflict.
These factors caused global petrol and oil prices to fluctuate in recent days, with mixed movements across different products, but the main upward trend is dominant.
