Leading national automotive trade fair opens in HCM City

VOV.VN - The latest products, services, and technologies from the automotive industry are being showcased at the Automechanika Ho Chi Minh City 2024 expo which kicked off on June 20 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center.

The sixth edition of the event is the largest so far with a total of 482 exhibitors from 23 countries and territories worldwide such as Brazil, Canada, China, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, the Republic of Korea, and Thailand.

Along with showcasing the latest products, services, technologies, and solutions related to components; accessories and customisation, diagnostics and repair, electric vehicles, along with automotive manufacturing and automation are also on show.

Upon addressing the opening ceremony, Olaf Mußhoff, director of Automechanika Frankfurt, said that with 482 international and local exhibitors attending and a record-breaking 22,600sqm of exhibition space at the venue, the event is a record number in terms of exhibitors, thereby drawing attention from visitors.

The country’s leading automotive industry trade fair provides a prime opportunity for both local and foreign businesses to boost exchanges and ramp up international trade.

Conferences and training workshops will be held as part of the expo which is due to run till June 22.
