Lazada partners with Gmarket to bring Korean products to Southeast Asia
VOV.VN - E-commerce giant Lazada has announced a strategic partnership with the Republic of Korea’s Gmarket, aiming to make more than 20 million Korean products available to consumers across Southeast Asia.

The partnership builds on a landmark joint venture between Shinsegae Group of the Republic of Korea and Alibaba Group of China, designed to help 600,000 Korean sellers expand into international markets. Leveraging Alibaba’s extensive e-commerce and logistics network, Gmarket vendors will now gain access to millions of new customers in Southeast Asia, further strengthening Lazada’s role as a key platform linking regional shoppers with leading global brands.
For Lazada, the partnership significantly expands its portfolio of trusted products and brands, aligning with the company’s long-term growth strategy centred on authenticity, quality, and consumer trust.
Starting on September 29, 2025, shoppers in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam will be able to purchase Korean goods at competitive prices from top names including Sulwhasoo, d’Alba, Mediheal, COSRX, Skinfood, and Laneige. Customers will also enjoy a seamless shopping experience featuring localized listings, fast cross-border delivery, free shipping, and 30-day free returns, all powered by joint efforts from LazMall and Gmarket.
A Lazada spokesperson emphasised that the partnership with Gmarket is pivotal in expanding the platform’s brand offerings and advancing its sustainable growth strategy, which focuses on connecting consumers to both global and local trusted brands.
