The expo authority announced on July 28 at a press conference that exhibitors from 30 countries have signed up to showcase their products and services in roughly 270 pavilions.
The organizers hope that more than 30,000 visitors will attend the three-day event running September 8-10 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre, or roughly 5,000 more than attended last year.
The annual ITE HCMC is an effective trade platform for both domestic and international companies to share, discuss and compete for both inbound and outbound travel business in Vietnam and the Mekong region.
It provides, they said, exhibitors an excellent platform to launch and better understand the tourism market in this region.
The expo is both a trade and public event focusing on both inbound and outbound tourism and this year will focus on six travel segments namely – leisure tourism, luxury tourism, education tourism, medical tourism, business tourism, and spa and wellness.
