Gov’t approves The Trump Organisation’s US$1,5 bn complex project in Hung Yen
VOV.VN - Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha has signed off on the investment policy for a major urban, tourism, and golf complex in Khoai Chau district of Hung Yen province, a project proposed by The Trump Organisation in partnership with local and US investors.

According to the decision, the Vietnamese Government approved the development of a 990.43-hectare international-standard urban-resort-golf complex spanning seven communes in Khoai Chau.
The project comprises an eco-residential area with a premium golf course for 3,500 residents, an eco-residential zone with a nature-focused golf course for 1,800 residents, a commercial urban service zone for 29,700 residents, and a green park and themed recreational space.
A 54-hole golf course, split into 36 and 18-hole areas, will be at the heart of the project. In addition, 7.28 hectares of land will be allocated for social housing. Infrastructure will be developed in a synchronised manner across the entire site.
The US$1.5 billion project is expected to be implemented between Q2 2025 and Q2 2029, with a 50-year operational lifespan.
Earlier, in September 2024, the Hung Yen administration signed a memorandum of understanding with American partners, including The Trump Organisation. The proposed US$1.5 billion project is to be carried out by a consortium of Hung Yen Investment and Development Group and IDG Capital, representing the Trump Organisation.
