Four international exhibitions get underway in Ho Chi Minh City

The expos are the 9th International Exhibition and Conference on Paper and Pulp Industry in Vietnam (Paper Vietnam 2022), the 8th International Exhibition & Conference on Rubber Industry and Tyre Manufacturing (Rubber & Tyre Vietnam 2022), Vietnam International Exhibitions and Conference on Coating, Pigment and Ink Industry (Coatings Expo Vietnam 2022), and the 3rd International Exhibition & Conference on Machinery, Equipment, Technology, and Materials of Plastics Industry (Plastech Vietnam 2022).

They all attracted the participation of over 150 enterprises from 18 countries, including Austria, Belgium, Germany, Indonesia, the United States, Japan, France, Thailand, Turkey, Sweden, China, India, the Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan (China), Pakistan, and Vietnam.

Most notably, as many as 50 Indian businesses have participated in the expos, while several popular Vietnamese brands such as Dong Tien Paper, Miza, Viet An, Minh Thanh, Minh Long, Da Nang Rubber, Hien Long, and Kien Vuong have also made a presence at the event.

In his opening speech, Nguyen Van Thanh, an official the Ministry of Industry and Trade, emphasised that the event offers an ideal opportunity for local firms to strengthen connectivity and diversify supply chains. It also serves as a forum for the businesses to expand co-operation and grasp cutting-edge technologies from leading companies in the field of coatings, paper, rubber, and plastics from around the world.

The three-day event is anticipated to welcome about 8,000 domestic and international visitors.

There will be a number of seminars, trade exchanges, and business-to-business matching (B2B Matching) sessions to be held during the expos.
