Denmark, Vietnam exchange cooperation agreements at business forum

VOV.VN - Vietnam and Denmark exchanged cooperation documents in a range of fields, such as healthcare, logistics, aviation, renewable energy, digital technology and education, at the Vietnam-Denmark Business Forum in Copenhagen on October 20.

The exchange of the cooperation documents was witnessed by King Frederik X of Denmark and General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and President To Lam who is on a state visit to Denmark.

The ceremony underscored efforts to translate the bilateral partnership into concrete cooperation between businesses, institutions and government agencies.

Key areas of cooperation include advanced biomedical sciences and digital healthcare, quantum information science and technology, aviation supply chains, air cargo logistics, and offshore wind power.

Notable agreements are those on quantum information science and technology between FPT Group and the Niels Bohr Institute at the University of Copenhagen, on the Nam Trung Bo 1 offshore wind power project between Petrovietnam and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, on airport operations between Vietnam Airlines and Copenhagen Airport, and on passenger and cargo transport between Vietnam Airlines and Scandinavian Airlines Systems.

Other agreements cover logistics infrastructure, including research, development and operation of a railway freight terminal in Hai Phong, as well as cooperation in tourism, education, and sustainable energy.

At the forum, Vietnamese and Danish leaders also highlighted opportunities to deepen economic ties, with a focus on green transition, innovation, technology and sustainable development. The discussions reflected both countries’ interest in expanding business links and creating new opportunities for long-term investment and cooperation.
