The event is organized by the Da Nang municipal People’s Committee in collaboration with the Swiss Embassy in Vietnam and partner organizations, with a view to expanding economic, investment, and innovation cooperation between Vietnam and Switzerland, as well as the broader European region.

The opening ceremony is scheduled for the morning of November 4 at the International Conference Hall – Furama Resort, with participation and speeches from representatives of the Swiss Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Vietnam’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Da Nang city leaders, the SVEF Chairman, and the Swiss Ambassador to Vietnam.

Forum sessions will cover a wide range of topics reflecting global digital economy trends, including “Regional and Global Trade Integration,” “Legal and Institutional Frameworks for Foreign Trade and Investment,” “Innovation in Fintech and Digital Finance,” and “Development of International Financial Centers,” drawing strong interest from experts and businesses alike.

On the afternoon of November 4, SVEF will sign cooperation agreements with Vietnamese partners, opening new prospects in investment, technology, high-quality workforce development, digital transformation, and green finance. A press conference presenting preliminary forum outcomes will be held concurrently.

On November 5, Swiss and international delegates will participate in an investment opportunity briefing in Da Nang and meet with city leaders at the Administrative Center. They will also visit key projects, including the High-Tech Park, Lien Chieu Port, and Software Park 2, which highlight Da Nang’s sustainable development and innovation orientation. The program includes cultural and heritage tours in Hoi An to showcase the region’s tourism and cultural potential.

SVEF 2025 is designed to promote Da Nang as a dynamic financial and innovation hub for central Vietnam and the Central Highlands, highlight priority investment projects, and attract international resources to support sustainable development.
